Star Wars - I was 5yrs old, it was also the first time I had ever been to the cinema - I was utterly blown away. We made our parents take us every weekend for the following 5 weekends.... several years on, Im still not bored of it.

I enjoyed Star Wars immensely, but when it came out I was probably too young to think it was totally amazing. For me, in the recent times, it would have to be Pulp Fiction. The whole film just blew me away and still does. I could watch it anytime.

Yeah. I'm laughing as I type, but Return of the Jedi. I was like ten years old, but I was beside myself about how much I loved it.

More recently I'd say V for Vendetta, The Chronicles of Narnia, Walk the Line or The Passion of the Christ. Wow, a lot of decent movies lately now that I think about it.

I would have to agree with the person that said JURRASIC PARK. I remember walking out of the movie theater amazed at how real it all looked. Now I see the film and compared to what we have today, it lookes kinda cheesy, but at the time we didnt know any better. Those effects were top notch at the time.

Snow White, when I was very small, then nothing 'till Star Wars and Close Encounters. (Hate the new Star Wars).

ET was the first film I went to see twice at the cinema.

But the first film that completely blew my mind (which I saw very late at night on TV, age 17) was Terry Gilliam's Brazil. Still does, every time I see it.

Definitely "The Abyss".

I still think it's an amazing movie and when I saw the Director's Cut, I was just staring at my screen in awe.

Next in line would probably by another sci-fi. Possibly 'Contact'. I really loved that movie, too.
