Because their government lies to them and tells them they are helping everyone else. Mostly, Americans living in America DO NOT KNOW what their country does to everyone else!
I think it is because it makes them feel powerful. And they can make themselves believe that they are helping...

Bin Laden of Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, wherever the man is, organizes one of the worst attacks in this nations history, kills thosands of innocent Americans, we go to war with them and you call that bulllying the weak?? is the mentally ill Kim Jong who is setting off nukes whenever the mood strikes weak?? how about red china? these people are not weak, they are serious threats to this nation and trying to protect ourselves by going on the offensive is not bullying the weak. The U.K., Rwhanda, France, 3rd world countires, they are weak. we help them by sending them any supplies that we can, we do not bully them. get your facts strait, or move to Canada if you dont like the U.S. of A. beleive me, you will not be missed. and take your liberal friends with you. Good Riddance!

We do seem to pick on what we perceive to be weak targets, but the Bush regime has found the supposed toothless tigers they attack seem to want to still bite back. Bush should have followed Ronald Reagan's example and only invaded countries with cocktail based economies like Grenada.
