Soap is made from fat and NaOH or KOH. They are boiled together and soap forms and glycerine is left over. With fruit, I would assume you are referring to the fat or oil part. You could use avacado oil or coconut oil . The soap will be caustic if you do not balance the amount of fat with the base. KOH soap is softer. The NaOH breaks the triglyceride down to fatty acids and glycerine and the Na+ attaches to the fatty acid making a molecule that is attracted to water and oils.
