Just build a new computer. I was wondering if it was worth the $1800 that I paid for it. here are the specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor 2.4 Ghz
Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive 300 GB
Cossair 2 GB RAM at 667 Mhz
Diamond X1300 512 MB video Card
Sony 17" LCD monitor
Logitech creative live webcam
creative 2.1 speakers
Diamond Xtreme 7.1 Soundcard
500 Watt power supply

good system but a little too pricey. What is with the 2.1 speakers??? you have the potential for 7.1. Powersupply is also good but that comes with the case so there was no need for additional cost

I think you over paid by about 300$. You can go online to different companies like hp, sony, and Dell (for example) and build systems identical to each other to see which is a better price. You did get a fast computer if that helps.

17" LCD??? Are you kidding me? 2.1 speakers... what's the point?
Rest of your hardware looks decent. Hope you got a good quality power supply.
