..and then by the time the show is back on you have already forgotten WTF just happened on the show?? Watch the episodes at abc.com- the episiodes are only 42 minutes long- with commercials!!

I have a digital recorder (a little less cool than TiVo) and start recording the shows. About 20 minutes after the show has started, I start watching the recording at the beginning and can fast forward past the commercials. I finish at the same time as everyone else.

I never watch it live. I always record it on my tivo and then wait until it's 20 minutes in to start watching so that I don't have to waste more then a few minutes on the boring commercials.
It's frustrating enough to have to wait a week in between shows....why would I want to watch 20 minutes of commercials!!!!

Dont change the channel and dont pay too much attention to the commericals.
If they are distracting you from the show, then they're working.
Thats what companies go for.
Unfortunatly, without the commercials, the "Network" wouldn't have the money to pay the "Actors" to make a good show.

We bought the first 2 seasons on DVD. For the third season, we DVR it and watch it without commercials. We'll buy the third season DVD as well.
We are so fed up with commercials that we rarely watch TV anymore. Most of our entertainment comes form podcasting - FREE downloadable mp3 or mp4 files that you can watch on your computer, iPod or other portable device.

I get so tired of watching commercials.
That's why I DVR the shows I love which includes LOST.

I only watch it online now.........It is actually faster, you only have to sit thru 30 secs of adverts online, then you can go back to the show.........plus it gives me something to do when I'm bored at work!
