Felony charges can be removed from your record (it's a long process) But Felony CONVICTIONS are on your record for life.
There is a difference between being charged with a felony and actual being convicted of this charge.

Charged or convicted they'll be there forever. If charged and/or indicted you may be able to have a lawyer have the record sealed as long as there was no conviction. If charged, indicted, tried and exonerated it should be sealed.

if there was a conviction, to get it removed you must try to "expunge" them, i am not sure of the process. there is a way but it's not easy. for that you must wait either 5 or 7 years to try.

for about $700 your attorney can file the paper work and have it expunged. you can do it yourself but it is EXTREMELY hard and a ton of work .
