Does any one know how to delete (safely) the hidden file that stores all you web addresses you have visited as someone has been using my computer and looking at rude sites and if anyone finds out I will be in trouble. So does anyone know?

In WIndows Explorer make sure you have hidden files visible. (Tools, Folder Options, View tab, select "Show Hidden files and folders".)

In Windows explorer navigate to
C:\Documents and Settings\\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

Delete everything in this folder. If you also want to delete history delete everything in the

C:\Documents and Settings\<
username>\Local Settings\History

folder.

Go to tools/Internet options/general/history and mark your history to 0 and also go to delete cookies& delete files. You can also go to windows market place and download a free window washer and run it everytime you get ready to shut pc down.

I would recommend using the Free History Eraser which clears all cookies, history, AutoComplete, index.dat files and more:

The regular version is a free download:
