I think I want to give my man a book of love poems. Small book, with poems that aren't so long you get tired of them.
What do you think? Any suggestions?

I would find ONE poem that tells him how you feel, something that really fits your relationship. Then find a magazine or book on something he is into, i.e. hunting, fishing, sports, etc.

Unless he is a poet, an English major, a playwright, a theatre actor/director, a writer, a guidance counselor, or someone who would make use of the book, love poems would hardly excite him. Give him a book on his interests or hobbies, e.g., basketball, football, tennis, racing, cars, golf, mystery thrillers, science fiction, suspense action novels, graphic novels, comic books, and porn magazines of course. Almost any man would appreciate hard porn (unless he is a priest, a theologian or someone that seriously against porn). Come on, the gift should satisfy the recipient and not just the giver. Think about his likes and get realistic!

Urgh................. Where did you like come from lol..!!!
No i dont think he would actually liek the book abou poems un less he is some peculiar guy or one of a kind who appreciates thosemkind of stuff. So in other words it actually depends on the guy.All the above answers relate to the typical guys point of view but there are so many other point of views to consider. But actually if hes really in love with you I dont think he would actually care what you give him if in the end you chose it with your best intrests he would gladly except it and laugh even if it were a baby book lol...
So in conclusion analyse your man and decide what you think HE would most like, and a bit of you in the book as well and it will all go great....

Men are not interested in love poems. They are interested in getting loved.
As far as reading, most men like to read the cowboy-western screw books.

Go to Barnes and Nobles and look in the poetry section.....Don't think he would like poetry unless he was an English major or something.
