The size of the gifts have changed.... used to be small gifts or sweets put in a shoe outside the door.

Shoe sizes are the same so now it often is a box or hamper.

Inside and around their shoes. The kids leave them out so they know how many children live in the house.

Well when my family celebrated it we'd put the gifts in a box under the bed. Now i'm not sure if that's how it's done with many other families but as far as I know...that's how it's done.
