It's a mild form of TMJ. You can go see a Maxillofacial specialist if it becomes particularly bothersome, but usually just a clicking is no big deal. It's if you have jaw pain that you need treatment. You might clench or grind your teeth at night too, which they can fit you with a brux guard to wear at night at your dentist.

I have a similar problem jaw clicks and also sometimes become locked.
It is stress related and is caused by the muscles contracting too quickly and not working 'inline' with your jaw bone.
Nothing to worry about its just a pain in the a***, the more you relax the less you will notice it :-)

Sounds like your jaw is misaligned. Go see a dentist that specializes in TMJ's. They can fix it for you.

hi babe mine does this to its coz i grined ma teeth in the night so it kind of pops ya jaw in a way u should go to the docs to get checked though they might just leave it like they did with me, it does go away for a while but comes back don't worry though darling.

Your jaw is off it's hinges. Ya might wanna go see a doc to get them aligned.

this happens to me too. sometimes goes on for days then stops. comes and goes. what tmj stand for?

Maybe you should see a dentist, it could be TMJ.
