How would you rank these countries as a threat to WORLD PEACE. 1-14, 1 being the WORST THREAT.?

of the last 30 yrs! 1 being the worst threat...you may group.

Japan, China, North Korea, Tawian, Russia, Kazakhstan, France, United States, England, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Isreal.

these countries are related in one way or another.

Times change to quickly to judge this over 30 years, so I will make my list for right now:

1. United States
2. North Korea
3. Iran
4. Russia
5. China
6. Isreal
7. England (only because they so easily support the United States)
8. France
9. Syria
10. Iraq/ Lebanon
11-14 Japan, Kazakhstan and Taiwan, because these places are in no position to threaten world peace...maybe in 50 years the answer would be different!

Why is Taiwan even on this list? They can't even fight CHINA, let alone anywhere else in the world! (I know, I live in Taiwan)

It is impractical to engage in such tiering for today's world is much like the world of the '30s & early '40s where alliances are factored into every thing.

USA, France and England and mabye Russia are part of NATO and are entwined economicall, politically and militarily. USA Japan, China and yes even Taiwan are vigurous trading partners USA, Japan and Taiwan have military alliances.

On the other hand North Korea and Iran are in leaque with each other as rogue states Iran Syria Lebenon are all in league with each other.

Isreal is totally dependent on the USA and can make very few moves without USA assistance. China is keeping North Korea afloat and therefore North Korean can not make few moves without China's assistance.

I do not see a threat to World Peace in the sense of a WWII global conflict although regional conflicts will always be present.

Now here is the important part. The one thing that MUST be done to insure that our country is not attacked is to remain so strong economically and militarily that no one would dare attack us. That was the lesson learned from WWII.

Time will change the view of power but for now...
1. Main threats to peace:
USA, N. Korea, Iraq, China, Russia ( the super powers)
2. Medium threat nations:
Taiwan, Kazakhstan, England, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Isreal.
3. Least posing threat:
Japan, France

LIke i said, things will change but overall, it's the former and recent super powers that freak me out the most.

1 - Red China
2 - Iran
3 - Syria
4 - North Korea
5 - Kazakhstan
6 - Iraq (I'd actually list it as a non-threat now because it is occupied but left to itself, it could implode)

Tied for least threatening are:

Japan, Taiwan, Russia, France, US, UK, Lebanon (really? they barely have an army. If you mean Hezbollah, then they go to #3), Israel
