Is it a virus or something and how can i prevent this from happening everytime i go to blackplanet.

1st thing, Go to avast.com and download the home program of their anti-virus. It is a free download and it is about the best anti-virus on the market.
2nd thing, Stop going to such a stupid site like that and get a life. Blackplanet is for stupid people who are not happy with themselves and can't accepted their race.

YEs this has happened to me on a couple of occasions. And I DID have my POP UP blocker ON!!! So I don't believe it has anything to do with a pop up blocker...But just to add, I am sorry I don't have an answer.

i think you got a trojan. they are right, you need to turn on your pop up blocker but if it's a trojan then you need to get rid of it. You need trojan remover to get it removed or if you're using windows xp, you could try to run the system restore. System restore will not remove trojan but it will just put you back in your old settings before you got that trojan. try not to go in the site that you're not familiar and try not to click every banner in the page that you're viewing you might get virus or trojans.

turn on your pop up blocker and it will stop all that but i gotta say blackplanet went out in like 2000 time to switch to myspace leave blackplanet to the old folks and young bucks

Its pop ups and run 3 virus scans tooo..... might be pop ups or you got soyware or adware on your computer.....
