My ex has been in Iraq and is due to be going to Germany soon this month. He use to call me everyday just to say hello and to hear my voice, but about 3 weeks ago, we had a huge misunderstanding and he refused to hear my part and said he had to go and hung up the phone and I have not heard from him since. I do miss him cause he was my heart and my joy, but I don't know if it's a good idea to contact him. I want to e-mail him some new recent photos of me that I had taken at a Ball I attended. Do you think it's a good idea if I contact hiim? I'm kind of scared that if I do he might come back with a reply telling me that he has a new love or something of that sort that will crush my heart. What do you think?

As a military wife, I would contact him.Men are very stubborn and sometimes need a little time to cool off before they can look at things rationally.Him also being over seas it would a great relief for him to be on better terms with you.If he is in Irag I don't think there is a new girl, but maybe if there is just relax try not to confront him about it, but voive your opinion a little bit. I have many friends over there and the last thing they want to do is worry about anything back home. They have plenty to worry about over there. Just write him a nice e-mail with everything you have to say. Maybe crack a joke or two to make the situation a little lighter.

I think Iraq must be a very emotionally trying place to be in and he'd probably really apreciate hearing from you.

well i am wondering what the huge misunderstanding was? did you date sombody else? you must of hurt him at that moment. i would suggest you contact him, maybe e-mail him and try to explain your side. how would you feel if something had happened to him, without you explaining yourself.

You shouldnt be contacting him anymore now that he is your ex and if you are afraid that he will tell you that he has a new relationship already.

I think you are out of the picture. Best thing to do is leave him alone.
