i have just bought a flas drive and want to know if i can put a password in it so that noboby but me can c whats on it.

Some drives have applications that encrypt content.

If yours doesn't, simply install TrueCrypt and create a secure volume on your drive. It's free and quite secure.

Some flas (sic) drives have the facility to encrypt the contents.
Check the documentation that came with it.

In the case of flash drives, though, the best security is physical... keep it in your pocket!

Use encryption program like Folder Lock
This is how it works
You create a file on the PC store it in a folder
The program allows you to install and copy the folder properties to CD's, USB's, etc
