I noticed that a job that I am currently interviewing for has reposted the position. Does this mean the decision has been made and my current interview process is just a formality?

It means they are looking for additional applicants.

They could have re-posted the position to give them selves more options. Like if for some reason during the interview process they decide you are not the right person for the job. I doubt that they would waste their time going through the interview process with you, if they were not interested in your qualifications for the job.
Good Luck.

Not necessarily -they may be looking for an additional person for another location or did not find someone with the correct skills. Maybe they just wanted to see more candidates. Just because a job is posted does not mean that a job actually exists. Best of luck and hope things work out for you.

Doesn't 'reposted' just mean that the job is still open?
If you are interviewing, the job is still open. Don't sweat it, they can't very well act as though the job is filled untill they hire somebody. It may still be yours.
You'll have a better chance if you exude confidence rather than timidity. Good luck.

Many times employers will put their ads in the paper and cannot cancel the ad before press time. At our office, we usually put the ad in for two to three weeks at a time. Good luck with your job!

You might ask them at the time of the interview, that is weird!
