Disadvantages are very few but it would be nice if you could me both specially the advantages

Advantages:
Immediate ability to call for help when you are in trouble/danger
No need to find change for a payphone & good luck finding one of those that works anyway
You can be reached in case of a child care or other type of emergency
You can have one consistent number where people can reach you when you travel

ADVANTAGE: You can speak with your girlfriend at any time anywhere.
DISADVANTAGE: You cant escape your boss.
