Okay, i'm already failing my economics class, and stupidly i forgot to study last night for our test today. so i had the brilliant idea of skipping it so that i could take it on a later date. unfortunately for me, that plan got totally messed up and i ended up getting sent back to class to take the test i am TOTALLY NOT PREPARED FOR.

i took it, and i definatly bombed it but at the end were two essays, 10 points each. i purposely "didn't finish them" so that i could come back and re-do them, and possibly get the extra ten points. but that plan failed on me too! i'm supposed to go back to class at 1130 and retake these stupid essays, and i can't possibly study enough IN AN HOUR to make a good grade on them.

so, what should I do? try and study and go do them?
or blow them off and just get zeros on them???

HELP!!! :[

You should have studied in the first place, it would have been a lot easier! Good luck!

You need to rethink your whole study strategy.

For your current situation, try and study and go take the tests. It's the responsible thing to do, and you don't want to give your teacher another reason to sweat you. If you feel like you can't do that, then come clean with your teacher and deal with the consequences. If your given the opportunity to somehow make up the work by doing extra credit or given an extension, consider yourself lucky and don't flake again!

Secondly, if you keep up on top of your work, and review it regularly, you won't have to panic about upcoming tests because you'll know the stuff already. When you first start having problems, tell your teacher. See if you can get some time with them after class or get a tutor.

Finally, stop using so much time and energy trying to get out of what you're going to have to do eventually anyway. Purposely not finishing your essays just made your situation worse. Suck it up and deal with it. Stop making excuses and study.

But, if you don't care about failing the class and possibly having to take it over, then just tell your instructor you don't care and do whatever you like. Just don't come back here and write about it when it happens again.

This is the time to make things right. Go take the test and do the best you can. Then, immediately make an appointment with your professor. Go in and see this professor and tell him/her that you screwed up royally and are very sorry now. That it WILL NOT happen again. Ask for forgiveness and a chance to make some extra credit somehow so you can pass this course. Promise to study every day and do well on the next exam (and mean it). This is called "taking responsibility for one's actions." Adults do it.

In my opinion anything beats a zero. So try and study a bit before going to class and who knows you might surprise yourself and do a lot better than you expected.

I SAY JUST BLOW THEM OFF AND GET COMPLETE ZEROS. I MEAN, IF YOU ACTUALLY HAD ANY INTENTIONS OF TRYING TO PASS THEM, YOU WOULDN'T BE WASTING THE TIME YOU ARE WASTING RIGHT NOW BY ASKING AND WAITING TO RECEIVE THESE ANSWERS NOW WOULD YOU? NOW GROW UP AND GO FAIL THEM LIKE A BIG GIRL!!!
