No, I do not think God plays favorites. But I do believe he knows what we need as a nation. I believe ( and this is just my take on it ) that God will Keep a Republican President. The reason i believe that is that Democrats have a tendency to just Cut and Run from War or any kind of danger. I know that some of them think they mean well when they just drop everything and run, but that does not solve anything!

I just hope for the sake of all the nation that we elect a Strong leader who will ( at any cost ) keep us safe here, and fight the war on terror. Some will say we go to far, and to many are dying. I say it is our obligation as one of the most powerful nations on this earth, to help out wherever we can and however we can. I do not agree with everything the Republicans do, but they are needed in this respect. I honestly believe that a Democrat, but especially a ultra liberal does not have what it takes to run this country in a time of war and unrest!

America is so far beyond any possibility of being blessed, we might as well change the name to Babylon.

A basic starting place is in the Bible "All Nations that forget God will be turned into Hell"

Don't blame me I didn't write the Bible or Tell America they should live a Jerry Springer lifestyle. I'm for better zippers and sobriety

Go big Red Go

I think it is so sad that so many people continue this narrow minded, immature, divisive practice of judging each other. This conservative vs liberal name calling routine is not only very tiresome but it is harmful to the country. I am a liberal but I have nothing against you because you are a conservative. But, how dare you or anybody else attempt to usurp the place and mind of God by deciding how God will judge anyone. I seem to recall a passage in the Bible to the effect of "judge not lest you be judged".

If all of the people, liberal, moderate or conservative that wish to continue this divisive nonsense would simply step aside and let the rest of us start moving forward again it would be one of the best things that ever happened to this nation. If all you have to offer is more name calling and generalizations then please, get out of the way. There are serious minded citizens, from all sides that are ready to attempt to heal these rifts and start moving forward again as one nation.

You've swallowed too much propaganda. What has Bush done for the religious agenda? Social programs and aid to faith based charities are cut, partial birth abortion is still legal, there's no movement toward an amendment banning gay marriage, and our military is underfunded and overextended in time of war. Is prayer back in public school, can you get vouchers for religious school?

Consider that religious conservatives have been played for fools by the Republicans. Democrats would run a competent government, protect the country and support the troops not multinational corporations such as Bechtel and KBR.

"Tempting Faith" by David Kuo - New book on how the religious right has been sold a bill of goods, by Republican leaders who hold Christians in contempt.

Political lines do not determine an individuals Christianity or morality. I think the recent headlines disregard the notion that republicans are demonstrating higher morals while in office. God continues to bless us all.

And I'll respect you because you refer to someone who doesn't see things your way as a demoncrat. Ignorance at it's best.

Maybe you'd prefer a more unipartisan, fascist government. Then we could just kill everyone who doesn't follow what you think, right?
