IF the 49ers beat the Chargers [don't think so], it will be because:
1) they find a way to take LT out of the game;
2) they suddenly find a pass rush and pressure Rivers, and
3) they find a way to get the ball to Antonio Bryant & Frank Gore early and often.
Like I said, not going to happen - dream on!

Martyball. Of course, to expose its inefficiencies, you first must make the run ineffective....and I don't see the 49ers being able to do that. But the Chargers have a bad habit of leaving teams alive, and Marty just goes into cruise control when he has a lead in the 4th...

I just have to laugh at the guy who said frank gore. You can't run on the Chargers, everyone knows that. They've had a stifling run defense for years now. The Chargers will see your Frank Gore, and raise you a Ladanian Tomlinson!
The niners have no hope of winning this one.

if the chargers dstart their scout team on defense and LT/Rivers and the rest of their offense played on crutches, and then the 49ers suddenly didnt suck, then the Chargers would still win by 10 points, but it might be more interesting
