i don't wear makeup when i go to work..but i feel like CRAP!! if i go out to eat w/ friends i have to at least put eyeliner on =T....
the worst thing is that i'm forced to wear my thick glasses all the time cuz i can't wear contacts All day.. so i only wear them for going out w/ friends/boyfriend etc.....so i'll make myself up w/ foundation, eyeliner, eyebrow powder, mascara, blush and gloss!! and i'll feel really great about myself...then it's back to work w/ thick glasses and oily skin and no makeup!!!

I rarely wear make-up (am 23). I never wear it to work, the only times I do are when I'm going out and want to look extra nice or if it's a special occasion. My skin is so sensitive that it's just best to leave it be. When I do wear make-up I do tend to keep it simple- concealer, light foundation, a bit of bronzer, and a touch of lip gloss, my only vice is lots of eye make-up. I completely agree that if you wear make-up all the time, you look strange without it, BUT if you don't wear it when you do, you always look 'wow'.
The thing about skin is that if you haven't abused it (and if you don't wear make-up often you probably haven't), you'll be rewarded with staying younger looking longer.

I'm 21 years old and never wear makeup. There've only been a couple of occasions where I have - a family portrait (lipstick only - at mother's insistence), and a trip away with friends where we all had makeup applied.
Sometimes I use lip gloss but that's about it, but in general I don't go out much so I see no need to use makeup.

I'd speculate that there are some 2 BILLION girls and women who don't wear makeup. But to be aware of that, you have to have a wider view of the world we live in, instead of the clique you run with and the cheesy fashion and beauty magazines that tell you you're not good enough unless you use such and such a product or treatment.
The poverty affecting millions, maybe billions of people living in countries that are considered Third World,...African, Indian, Chinese, South American...where some people subsist on less than $2.00 U.S. a day, kinda make buying cosmetics a simple thing to pass up when you have to use that money to feed yourself and your family.

No, its not unusual, I never wear makeup and I'm in my midtwenties. I put on gloss for my lips, but thats it. I dont think there's anything wrong with it, especially if you're confident enough to know you dont need it. I think makeup covers up what people are trying to hide, and I dont want to hide anything. I love my face just the way it is.

no its not unusual. ive never worn it. some women just dont have a need to. some women dont need to but their insecurities tell them otherwise, some women like the way it makes them look and or feel, and some actually need it. i dont do much to my face at all actually. i cleanse it well and add a moisterizer about 3 times a week. that's about it. :)
