That depends on who you ask. murder to one person is self defense for another.

but as for war..... war is usually 2 parties willingly engaged in a fight to the death for something or over something.

murder to me is the slaughter of the defensless.

No as a rule killing in war is between two armed persons. There are a few exceptions where killing someone in armed conflict would be considered murder. But since your question didn't cover that I'll not tell you what they are. It will cost you 5 points for that.

Trust me, you know very well when you've stepped over the line in war. And yes, there is a line, you can want to get some, work your rear end off to be in the right place to push that hell box which ends the lives of combatants but it is not the same as killing simply to kill. Sometimes the anger of loosing friends makes your blood boil to the point that all you want to do is kill everyone and let god sort it out. Acting on that impulse is crossing the line and you know, trust me....

It depends on the person that you are talking to. I consider it murder, but some people do not because it is fighting for your country, and it is legal.
