We just moved to another state and my daughter has started a
new school. The first week of school she had her schedule changed four times. Now it's the end of the marking period and her counselor has suggested placing her in honors geometry. This would change her whole schedule around. She has just gotten comfortable with her new school and likes her schedule the way it is. She is currently getting all A's. Should I make her take the honors course or should I leave a good thing alone?

Your daughter has had enough changes.
Leave her alone to make some friends.

How about next semester or next year... It sounds like you all have been through alot of changes and moving from another state is very hard on everyone. I can't believe her schedule got changed so many times already...it takes an act of God to get a schedule changed at my kids school. I'd let it go for now, if she's happy, getting good grades, making friends and getting involved in your new town that's almost more important. Best of luck.

Leave it be. School at the age is hard enough already (and I'm not even talking about the work). Teens need that comfort zxone at school to be productive and most importantly happy. If you force her to take the honors class everything could spiral downward. Next thing you know she is failing, pregnant by a 37 year old and selling her mouth for donut holes in the DD parking lot.

That's really hard to say. I would let her make the decision. It also depends on what grade she's in. I think being in honors would look good on a college application and if that's where she's headed then she may need to change her schedule again.

I would let her decide. She sounds responsible. Honors classes can always wait until next year.
