There are many different machines on the market and many ways to first gain access to the pump and then to change one. Many are simple and some are more difficult.

If you could supply a make and model number it would make it easier to supply information on how your pump can be replaced. Without that information it would take a few hours to describe the different ways to do that.

With the replacement spare at hand,Shut off water and power supply{remove the plug from th socket.Open the back panel, drain dry the residue water in the system.Remove the hose connection, unscrew the base plate, change the supply line to the new pumpset as per original wiring..connect the hose clip to the water line .
You are all set and close up the back panel.
remember to turn on the water supply before starting the machine and good luck

Remove the cover! You will see the pump and it will be secured to the base. remove the base screws and the inlet and outlet rubber hoses. You may have a cable that either plugs in or is connected via a connector block. mark the wires so you know which goes where when you put it back~Fit your new one and secure it to the base fit your hoses and then the clamps and connect it and you are on your way to having clean clothes again
