I work as a Deli Manager and we have to wear the white hairnets now, we aren't allowed to wear the ones that match your hair color. According to some state laws you have to have 90% of your hair covered by a hair restraint

As an actor I sometimes have to wear a hairnet to work to cover my hair and keep it all back away from my face (for makeup and also to wear a wig sometimes).

No, I don't. If you work around food, some places require it. All of your hair except for your bangs would go in the hairnet.

Yep. Sure do. I am on the waitstaff at a richy rich retirement community. When we're in the kitchen slicing desert or preparing salad we have to wear a net. When we serve the food we dont. We can also choose to wear a baseball cap.

I do not wear one but I work with those that do & all hair should be covered to keep it from supposedly falling into food or whatever. Hairspray works just as well & isn't as unattractive!
