You cannot blame TO, he is stuck in a bad situation. His coach's ego is too big to make TO a big play maker. Not even the best WR in the NFL can have an impact if you only throw him the ball once in the first half of a game. Dallas needs to make TO the center of their offense in order to fully utilize his skills.

it's a little bit of everything. Drew Bledsoe was getting rushed quite a bit, which threw him off of his game, but at the same time, receivers know they have to run a hot-route if a blitz is on. obviously they weren't getting open quick enough, or Bledsoe would have gotten rid of the ball instead of taking a sack. T.O. didn't practice much in training camp, so him and Drew Bledsoe haven't developed good chemistry yet like Bledsoe has with his other receiver Terry Glenn. Cowboys offensive line will have to play much better if they have a chance of being a good team this season. Bledsoe isn't a running type QB. If he gets sacked a lot, he plays badly. Just like the Cowboys first game at Jacksonville, and just like the game against Philly. In Dallas's other two games they won(Washington and Tennessee) Bledsoe was sacked only once.

I'm afraid that the first answer is the correct one. Terrel Owens is a LOSER! Pure and simple. He covers it up with some very brilliant WR work once in while (when he feels up to it and when the world doesn't say anything "mean" to him.)

But throughout his football career he is always a poison where ever he goes.

Yes, his last game was horrible and once again he blamed everyone BUT himself. The more he rants and screams on the sidelines, the more he blames the coaches, the media, his QB, his team, the label on the pill bottle, why the worse it gets and the worse he plays. He is closing fast on the "final meltdown" and he thinks its all because some sports commentators "don't like him..."

With T.O. you HAVE TO realize that he is NOT having an "off game" or an "off day," an "off season," or an "off year." The man is in the middle of a full blown "off life"

T.O. is horrible he thinks he is the best but I hate to tell you Chad Johnson runs circles around T.O. He has to catch the ball when its thrown to him, he has to stop acting like hes the team there are 22 positions on the football team, 11 out at a time if T.O.s the best then he'd be playing, quarterback, Left tackle, linebacker...etc. Other people are paid big bucks to play on Sunday too not just T.O.

He's always going to be cocky, because that's all he's got for himself.

T.O. is a LOSER, like the first comment said.

I've never paid any attention to him until this year when he went to Dallas. I'm not impressed! What is all the hype about? Someone please tell me if he was ever that good. He has dropped most passes I've seen thrown to him. Terry Glenn seems to be a much better player, but only gets a fraction of the recognition. Why did Dallas waste their time and money on this idiot? TO is going to rip this Dallas team apart.

It was against his former team. One that he publicly bad-mouthed and was let go from. Someone on Chicago's sports radio made a good point. To everyone else on the Dallas team, that was just another game. But to the Entire Eagles team, it was a chance to get back at someone who caused them tons of grief.

Plus, TO has a broken hand that he has a metal plate attached to with little metal screws. He probably should be sitting on the bench, but he has a winning attitude. He wants to play and he wants to win.

I bet in two weeks, he'll be back on his game.

i think that T.O was just having a bad week. it happens to everyone. And plus he hasent done very well these past few weeks. so i think the big guy (God) has had enough of T.O's rotten and prideful attitude. remember T.O is not the only person on the team, thats just what he wants other people to think. because drew bledsoe is the one who screwed everything up, but it wasnt just him either--it was the team.

philly put so much pressure on owens last week. double coverage. pass interference. he was never open. he is good, but i dont like him. philly came ready and they shut owens down, the right way...on the field. philly definately got the last word here. so, the hell with TO and all the hype

the reason he sucked was because of the amazing eagles secondary, Dawkins, Sheppard, Lewis, Brown..... think about it.... all 4 have been to the pro bowl. Then not to mention that our nickel DB and backup to Sheppard, Rod Hood is a pro bowler too
