Lynn Palm is a very good trainer. She is married to a dressage trainer and she brings a very well versed background to her training. She can train anything from dressage to western. She is good at teaching basic riding skills and has a unique approach to teaching. I like her style and have picked up some great exercises from her articles that have made me a better more balanced rider.
She writes for Horse and Rider magazine and has done several series of articles for them. Lots of good information and easy toread and follow.

She's pretty good and I'm impressed that you noticed her ground work training. The top trainer in my opinion is John Lions (or his Aussie wife) I've been to 7 of his semiairs and I've used his methods on horses that I had issues with and NO MORE PROBLEMS!! yea, he good but If I have to be honest...there's a lot of good trainers out there including me, I've seldom have been licked by a horse with a bad attitude.

Ever heard of Rugged Lark? He was a great quarter horse stallion, who was a 2 time super horse and prolific sire. While his early training was done by Mike Corrington, Lynn was partnered with him for a 4 year show campaign. Demonstrating just how versatile he was.(hunter under saddle, western pleasure, reigning, trail, driving and bridle-less demos ending with a bow) It takes only exceptional training to have a horse like he was.
