Good question. When we get depressed, us guys will hibernate in our cave. Society has told us our whole life to "suck it up," "don't be a woman" and "what are you a cry baby?"
So we go off alone to lick our wounds. The best thing you can do is listen. Depending on his emotional awareness and state of denial,
you might be able to hug and hold him.
Other times the physical act of making love will be a temporary balm. But overall, I think just being available & listening is the best. Sometimes just giving someone space is the answer.
The worst is to pressure the guy, give him a deadline or dress up sexy as a surprise. That only works in the movies; after getting beat up at work or drubbed by life, most guys need alone time to mull things over.
However mailing him a card, dropping off a flower and/or just calling can be enough. Realize it might take several days or even a week for a guy to come out of his cave. At that point we are more approachable to conversation.
Good luck!

no longer unavoidably. jointly as the two heterosexual women human beings and gay men are going to finally searching for a male companion, this would not immediately recommend the charm is the comparable. turn ons and offs are a private query, so no 2 human beings might have the comparable reaction. no longer 2 right this moment women human beings, a mixture, or 2 gay men will agree on what's a determining actual or psychological decider for them,

First thing to do is find out what he is depressed about. Then... look to removing the source of depression.

I think the best thing to do, well what i would do (if i cared about them enough) would be to cook them their favourite meal as a surprise and wear something sexy under what your wearing, maybe run them a bath after eating and then surprise them by getting in :) xxx

Unless you're a therapist all you can do is suggest he see one. Also be careful depressed people can do irrational stuff. I'd be afraid of him.
