Well, the problem with most people is that they label bands "Christian" and "non-Christian"... Bands like Emery, Norma Jean, As I Lay Dying, Zao, mewithoutyou, Underoath, MxPx, heck even POD call themselves "Christian" but you would be appalled to see what some of their individual beliefs are... my best example is POD with them being called "Christian" but in actuality are Rastafarian... they believe that God inspired mainly 4 people... Jesus, Moses, Elijah, and Bob Marley.... now believe me, I'm not trying to judge them, but many people who are of a more protestant faith would be amazed to see what some bands actually believe that call themselves "Christian"... i flipped out when i saw that they had POD's CD in the local Christian bookstore... when i knew what they believed... but on the other hand they have more "moral-friendly" music which helps sell to Christians...

Now if you would like to check out other bands like those who are touring with Norma Jean [Between the Buried and Me, The Fully Down, Fear Before the March of Flames, and Misery Signals] they might have the style that you are looking for but again, I'm not sure...

OH YEAH! and I forgot to add a note about Destroy the Runner... I do not know if they are Christian or have Christian moral/writers of their music... but I do get a more positive message from their songs .... you should read their biography on their main page....

Haste The Day, challenge 86, As cities Burn not hardcore, however the music is heavy. hardcore is hardcore punk like BANE and skramz like Touche Amore once you pronounced hardcore, i attempted to get what you meant by using hardcore, even although you probably did not save on with the genuine skramz/hardcore punk definition.

Well. If that's the kind of crap you're into, Norma Jean is christian hardcore.

Underoath sucks. A lot.

If you ever feel like listening to a band who is christian and doesn't suck try Pedro the Lion.
