The problem here is that many children do have egg allergies. Try a little bit of scrambled eggs and if no reaction then she could have an egg scrambled so long as she can chew well.As far as cheese goes she can certainly have some cut or broken in small pieces just not too much as it could bind up on her.

That's correct.

But only give her the yolk of the egg until she's a year.

It is possible for her to develop an allergy to egg whites. The risk is not very great... But ALL vaccines are grown in an egg-white medium. Which means that if she develops an allergy to egg whites, she can NEVER receive another vaccine. Ever. For anything.

So cheese and egg yolks are fine. They're actually a great way right now to get a little quick protein into her. Boiled egg yolks and cheese both make good high-protein snacks without too much mess.

NOTE: The one-year delay is ONLY for liquid milk. In yogurt & cheese, the proteins are already partially broken down, so they are fine for younger children.

I don't know about the cheese, but I would assume it's okay as long as she can tolerate it and eat it well.
As far as the eggs go, I've always heard feeding a kid eggs before the age of 2 could make them allergic to penicillin. However, I asked my son's ped. and he didn't seem to believe that. He said at 1 year or after they get their first chicken pox vaccine that it's okay to give eggs. He said something about the vaccine is made with eggs (or something like that) and you don't want to mess up the vaccine working by giving them eggs beforehand incase they are allergic to eggs.

She can have cheese now, and egg yolks now. Egg whites can be introduced after her first birthday. They are allergens so you have to wait.

we started feeding our kids eggs and cheese when they were able to pick it up themselves. be cautious about eggs...my daughter's excema started around 6 months and we didn't know she was allergic to eggs until they tested her around 14 months. it made her excema unbearable and she would itch and scratch until she was bleeding.

After one year old. Consult your pediatrician. You can give her egg, but cheese is not recommendable.
