I haven't had one single dose of morning sickness up to this point. Is that normal? I read that signs of no morning sickness can also be linked to miscarriage. I need a peace of mind.

No that's not true usually when you don't have morning sickness you will have a girl. Well that's what I have herd and has been true for some of my friends. But I felt morning sickness but never threw up. I had a boy though. It might just be to early I didn't feel that until I was about 5 months pregnant. Who knows you could be one of those lucky mom's that don't get any morning sickness at all.

Sincerely yours,
Laurie

i am 36 weeks and i hadn't had any vomiting at all. The only thing that i felt was nauseous and that was less then 3 or 4 times. Be thankful. Throwing up durning the day is not a wonderful experience. Some woman are just different. I know woman who have had morning sickenss for the first couple of months. I watched a tv show where a woman had morning sickness up until she gave birth.

It is normal to have no morning sickness. I have 2 children and never had any morning sickness with either of them, I am using husbands name on here. Don't believe what you hear. If you haven't been to a Dr. yet I would really suggest seeing one to help also ease your mind. They will do an ultra sound to see how far you are and let you know if all is ok. If you been to a Dr. and they say all is good don't second guess or you will stress yourself out more. Good luck with your baby

I never had morning sickness until this pregnancy (this is my 4th) and I have never had a miscarriage. Don't worry so much about having a miscarriage. When you worry it put stress on the baby. I'm sure that everything will be fine (and thank your lucky stars that you haven't had morning sickness!)

You are ok...Every woman is different as well as every pregnancy is different.
My morning sickness didn't really kick in till a little after 8 weeks. Though I did feel a little like, "yuck I wish I hadn't of eaten that", in the evenings after dinner before that. I didn't get the all day nausea till 8 to about 13 weeks. And even then it wasn't so bad that some carrots, graham crackers and ginger ale didn't fix. I kept those on me at all times. Never threw up though. But now I'm fine except when I brush my tongue I gag; which never bothered me before.

It could just be a little early for you..mine didn't kick in until at least 8 weeks....but thankfully I am at 6 months now and it's all gone.......good luck.
Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

I started getting mine at 2 months or around two months, it should be fine, don't stress yourself on thinking you might have a miscarriage or it could lead to one, eat healthy, drink lots of water no smoking and do a bit of exercise every now and then, with minimum stressing and you should be great, when people have a miscarriage sometimes it cant be prevented if your doing all the right stuff, so like I said don't stress over it.

That is total BS!!! you can read that morning sickness only occurs in a certain percentage of woman. And you are lucky not to have it yet if at all. I didn't get mine until I was 8 weeks. No worries girl, you are just fine. Think of it this way...because you ARE NOT sick, you can eat healthy and be SURE(and free of worry) that your baby is getting all the nutrients he/she needs during this vital time in your pregnancy when all the organs are developing!!!!

you do not have to be sick to be pregnant, that is not an indication that something is wrong. im on my third child and never once had any morning sickness with any of mine. be happy and dont fret over every little thing. i recommend the book what to expect when your expecting. read, research, ask the dr questions, educate yourself about pregnancy so that you will feel better about all the things you are going to feel.
