Yes, we do.
Because if you love someone, you're willing to make a tag team and will have to sacrifice other things for that person.
Romeo and Juliet are a good example.
Some people are sacrificing their religious beliefs for the one they love.
Love is overpowering and fulfilling.

I don't think you need to sacrifice,,,geez. I think the word you are looking for is COMPROMISE. There is a big difference in those 2 words. No one should ever sacrifice themselves or their integrety, morals and values for anyone else. When you love someone, there is some compromising that happens and you have to communicate with each other well to make a relationship work.

Sacrifice sounds so harsh...I don't think so, but I do think that if you love someone, you need to think about their needs, while NOT forgetting your own. Compromise is important-you can't always get your own way, and neither should your partner--it should work out so you both feel happiness over the decisions you make together...

If it's Mutual 'True Love', then every time you 'give in' to your mate could be "viewed" as a sacrifice. BUT as long as they give in to you just as often, then every time you give in to them again, it will "feel" like mutual displays of love.

Just remember that every successful relationship is a 50-50 proposition.

It's truer than you can imagine. But keep in mind you shouldn't always be the one to sacrifice, the other party should as well, otherwise it's not a two sided love.

Loving is about giving. Sometimes we have to give more than we receive and sometimes the other person's needs become more important to us, because of this, than our own.

You can think of it as a sacrifice, if you like, but watch how that immediately makes it a negative way of thinking. If you catch yourself thinking negatively, consider very carefully what leads you to think that way.
