no it depends on what software you plan on using. if you use a windows software based program then no. but if you plan on using a MAC software then yes but overall the answer is no.

All of the graphics jobs listen in my area all require a strong background in Mac OS X and Adobe products. It would be wise to get Mac experience. In my own opinion, it would be best to switch to Mac altogether. There's too many hassles in the PC world. Macs are easy, fast and secure. OS X is light years ahead of Windows.

In our company Dell is the standard mandated with Windows so all graphic art uses intel and windows platform. I'm sure the graphic artist may have a apple at home but they use Windows software, eg Paint, Adobe, etc..
