In fact I opened this site to ask a question. I saw your question and decided to reply because I come across this situation. if you like internet see the site www.bored.com. It has a huge number of links which will keep you away from boredom. Hear some songs, go for movies etc. Join some correspondence course to kill time. An advice at last...do not start smoking, drinking etc....

Pick a book you would be interested in and read. May not sound fun and exciting but you will be amazed what you can learn. You may even find you enjoy reading. Can be very relaxing too.
