Two boys in year 9 fighting, going hell for leather at each other. Being the only male in the class I stepped between them. Somehow my little finger got trapped in the clothing. As the boys fell it bent the top of my finger right back. AAAAHHH!!!
Should I start my weekend now or should I go back to work and support my reluctant colleagues!?.

Finish the day & give yourself a pat on the back for trying your best (with the hand that doesn't have a broken finger). Take yourself out for an evening to help "mend" the wound. And maybe you should try taping the broken finger so you don't accidentally hit it & get hurt all over again. Peace to the PeaceKeeper.

Sue the kids' parents for failing to instill moral and physical restraint on their kids. Take at least 6 months off work and claim compensation for stress and suffering. Then when you're colleagues have forgotten what you look like, go back to work :D
You dont say that you are a teacher but if you are you have my sympathy and respect. There is no way I could stand in front of a class of kids and fail to inflict damage on at least one of them in the course of a lesson!
To answer your question...start your holiday now :D lol

See a clinical specialist. there is not any thanks to really understand with out x-rays. And if absolutely everyone tells you that that's no longer damaged because you could flow it, that's an old fable. I broke my arm once, sparkling spoil, both bones, and that i might want to flow my hand incredibly. they are going to placed a small solid or placed it in a unmarried of those finger sling issues to shop it instantly so that you do not further damage it if that's damaged.

You have an obligation to stay home and take care of yourself, for your students and yourself. To go in might cause guilt to the rest of the class when they see the tangible evidence in front of them.

I hope the kids were suspended.

You deserve the break, and I support you in such a hostile environ.

You will find that you have another one on your other hand so there is no excuse for slacking. You should be working right up to the last minute, after all you are dedicated ar'nt you.

Go back to work. There are not enough role models these delicate days who demonstrate resilience and fortitude.

Take the rest of the day. It's not called "slacking," it's called "taking care of yourself." On your way home, visit a hospital.
