If you see your child in danger by using drugs or alcohol and you continue to enable him because you love him, that is your heart. However knowing that your child needs help, you show him tough love and demand that he get's help or you'll cut him off for good is using your head.

With-In

I see a different person,
when I look at You.

It’s not the one you think of,
or the way you’re friends see you to.

I see you as a special person,
when I look at you now and then.

I wish you could feel what I see,
every time I look at you from with-in.

There is a special person in all of us,
we choose what we want others to see.

It’s when I look at you,
that makes me feel the love I want to see.

They say love is blind,
and I agree in a particular kind of way,

But if I look at you from with-in,
my heart knows it’s going the right way.

I just wanted you to know,
that the next time we meet face to face.

When you see me looking at you,
my heart will always be in that loving place.

sorry i don't know whats your situation cause there are times that we have to choose mind over heart and sometimes heart over mind...just try to see and think for the pro and cons so that you will know which of the two you should follow.

sorry, unless you are an inexperienced teenager the mind always wins. sometimes it really sucks, but that's what growing up is.
