"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

From birth to adulthood, we have unconscious and conscience influences that always make us judge others based on how they look. We judge a person by how they dress, how they speak, the neighborhood they live in, their wealth, etc. This is not the proper way to judge a person. However, due to the media, government (in particular, the police department), etc. using unethical ways to judge a person or how a group of people are perceived. We as the general public, have come accustom to judging people, for the external instead of their internal being. So we should not judge a person by status, power, and wealth. For not everyone, is fortunate enough to have these privileges. As hard as it may be, we as individuals should stop judging others based on the external , we should examine people on their personality, morals and the way of thinking...the most important part of a person....their character.

Good Q.

Certainly a most often used method is PRE judging, and seemingly an acceptable method in much of todays society.

That said however, it's WRONG to "Judge" anyone,,,especially and unless we have judged ourselves first,,,if for no other reason than to have a basis for comparison.

EX: I SEE you, and almost immediately form opinions based on perceptions, that may be completely opposite of who and what you truly are.

Personally I believe the best "judge" Gads I hate that word,,, of another, might come from someone who is Blind. Although in my experiences,,, Our species has prejudicial faults in all cultures, mind sets, disabilities, etc.

Perhaps the bottom line is Get to know another before forming any concrete opinions.

I find when I block much, I block positive as well as negative.

We should never judge people before we get to know them first as individuals. Then, we judge them by their characters and their actions, also their friends.

As we would be judged.
Sorry, but all those who say something like "we should never judge other people" are, in my opinion, not facing reality.
In my opinion, we ALL make "people judgments" every day - and we should. We may make the wrong judgments sometimes, but there are often occasions when we'd darn well better judge others.

We can discriminate but not judge. Of course you don't want to hang out with just anyone either but we should not judge that person. First let us judge ourselves and find our own faults.

How you look at people around you is a reflection in itself, of your character. We see ourselves in others, be it in an agreeable or disagreeable way. So judge them as you would judge yourself, because at the end of the day, it is only yourself whom you're judging. So don't be too harsh.
