I have been around this boy since we were babies. When, we got older I started to develop these feelings for him. And we sometimes flirt with each other, but mix signals are also being thrown in the air.

Say to him "I've been thinking about something so I need to ask you a question out of curiosity. Not that I'm implying anything, but would you ever consider dating me? I know we've known each other since we were little, but I just need to know something." If he's an honest guy, at that point he should tell you how he really feels about you.

Talk to him. If you are good friends you should be able to speak openly. You can drive your self nuts over thinking the matter. The bottom line is you need to ask him how he feels about you. Try not to corner him and make it into an interrogation. Ask your question and let him know you care about him and want to be friends no matter what his answer is. I wish you good luck - and please do not have your friends ask him how he feels that is childish and can lead to one or both of you being embarrassed. Keep the conversation between both of you - It is the best way to prevent the friendship from being damaged.

ask him to tell you exactly how he feels about you...and no matter what the answer is tell him how you feel about him...its better that you ask first so that ur feelings dont change his answer...
