Do i need a headset and a controller? if so where do i get one from? as i want the best out of the game? Will the controller work on all kinds of games like battlefield 2 etc.

For any first person shooter game the keyboard and mouse setup is unbeatable.
However, Battlefield 2 includes things like helicopters and jets. I use a logitech 3d pro as it has a throttle and a stack of buttons. (I think i only ever use 4 of them but anyway =) )
You can set the game up so that when you enter a helicopter or jet the joystick is active.

Battlefield 2 is the best combat game ever. I was stunned when i played it.
Flying with jets and landing on carriers, on boats or on tanks or apache helicopters or as a foot soldier what wouldnt they think about next lol.

you do not need a headset, or a controller, cos just a keyboard is fine. it is an amazing game, i just got it, and it runs well even on my pc, so much fun
