Nope as long as she isn't feeling bad I wouldn't treat it. A fever is the bodies way of battling the bugs!! Keep an eye on her and if she gets worse call her Dr.

If it's at 96 then the fever most likely is gone. Her aches are a result from the fever the night before. My son just had went through this. If her fever continues giver her tylenol, wait 3 hours then give her Motrin or Advil, wait 3 hours and give her tylenol. This was the doctor's advice with a fever and aches. When you are sure the fever is gone but she is complaining of aches, simply stick with Tylenol and give her a warm bath and rub her aches. It took 3-4 days for my son to get over it, no strep or ear infection was there, just the temp. Also don't forget to push the liquids as fever will dehidrate her. Good luck, hope she feels better.

I would take her to a doctor anyway. You shouldn't mess about with any fever in a young child, it is more dangerous than in an adult.
The aches and pains would be produced by the fever, and aspirin which I believe is the ingredient in Tylenol (or paracetamol which has the same effect) would have lowered the fever.
Get her to a doctor if you can and make sure she drinks lots of fluids in the meantime.

96 is not a fever. Correct body temperature is 98.6 degrees. So no she doesn't need any meds right now. Just keep an eye on her and if thier is anything really wrong you'll know it.

if it is a low grade fever do nothing..fever fights illness....if it is cronic talk to your doctor because it could be a serious condition. sometimes it is a sinus fever... and you could look for cuts or abrasions that are causing it. feel the glands on each side of your throat....they may be swollen.

well, i hope you mistyped what her temp is because 96 is way too low!
i wouldn't do anything if it's under 100, but if it persists you might want to call her doc.
