she is 5 months is something wrong?

It is most likely her ligaments and uterus stretching. The muscles are learning to compensate the new weight of the baby and fluid. She could also be feeling some kicking, but at 5 months the baby is probably is not that strong yet. At her next doctor's visit tell her to mention it to him. As long as she is not having anything else (spotting, bleeding, cramping)she is fine.

Sounds very normal......as long as it's more of an achy pain and not a stabbing/ crampy pain. It's just her muscles and ligamnets stretching for baby.......Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

muscles and ligaments stretch all through pregnancy, and it can be painful. It's just the body making room for the baby. If she makes sure her belly is supported it will lessen the pain(probably eliminate it). At night she should be sleeping with a pillow under her belly and between her knees. Also changing the baby's position will help too. If she stands on her hands and knees for a few minutes the baby will move. If that doesn't help she can try other positions until she finds what works.

The baby may be lying in a difficult position which could be trapping a nerve, i've had this a lot and believe me it can be painful, like sharp shooting pains. If you're both really worried just go see the doctor or midwife. Goodluck

It is probably the baby's feet in her rib cage. Tell her to get down on all fours and do the pelvic rock to try to make the baby move his position.

She must be in hard paintings... save music of ways long they are, and how a ways aside they arrive. in the event that they arrive consistently and are the comparable time aside each time, then after approximately 4 or 5, call her wellness practitioner.

It's probably just her body stretching and adjusting to the pregnancy. But if she is concerned she should go see her doctor to ease her mind.
