Apparently she died on July 18 1817. As to the type of clothes they wore, it was 18th century (heh, duh) Baroque and Rococo fashion.

Jane Austen (16 December 1775 – 18 July 1817) was an English novelist. Her insights into women's lives and her mastery of form and irony have made her one of the most noted and influential novelists of her era despite being only moderately successful during her lifetime.

You have the date of her death from a previous answer (not the 1830 one, unless that's a different Jane).

I believe she died in 1817 but I think many people suspect Addison's disease rather than a stroke. Through most of her adult life, I believe that "empire" style dresses were fashionable--fabrics included natural fibers--cotton, silk, wool. Of the movie
versions of her novels, I think the BBC productions did the best job with the costumes.
