Who can name the most reasons why the War in Iraq has been such a failure?

Karla V.

I'm sorry. You must have me confused with someone else. My father has been dead since 1987, and I am 52 years old.

I hope you get in touch with the right person. Good luck!

In what way has it not? But remember, for the Bush Boys, the war is a success. They are over there swimming in the crude while their private army provides security. When the dust has finally settled, they will have carried off, to their private islands, all the plunder they can get away with, and I'm sure they believe no one will notice or ultimately do anything about it.

WAR? I do not believe it is a war right now, I believe the troops are over there to keep peace(with all the ??anti-democrats??) while trying to assist Iraq in rebuilding the country with a democracy. I think the term WAR has been used to describe all the killing of our troops more than anything....but the I think the biggest reason could possibly be because the country is not ready for such a drastic change. Going from basically being told what to do and when to do i-to making it their choice. They are probably in total disarray(like someone who's been locked up for the last 60 yrs then suddenly being thrown into society and being expected to know what to do). And anytime management changes..it takes a while to get used to it. Maybe we could compare this situation to that of an alcoholic or someone with an addiction??? They aren't going to change until they are ready to make the change themselves...no matter how much assistance they get or how many people try and help them along the way.

Hi Mr imxxlboxe!!??? It's me!!!

Anyways, I was told you can be reached through this site through Jennifer, and she told me your parents are very hurt that you felt they would not understand. Your Dad was only ACTING mad at first because he thought you were joking!!!! Are you reading this? And as for you, Veronica V., you have made a few assumptions I could PROVE wrong, if I wanted to here, but it is none of your business.

Secondly, I heard you have been causing quite a commotion on the Yahoo answers board from Jennifer, OR, your house! Carlo says hello. Let me just say this, President Bush does not, and did not, make the decisions that have you so upset a couple of months back, alot of people did Mark!, and it is not only because of the tax-break thing, but also insurance companies lobby against yours and your friends "idea".

Thirdly, They sell things that you like in Canada, and you can do it there.

Fourthly,

Just because something is on paper doesn't mean it is more real than something that is not on paper. Plus, that "business idea" you and your friend had your hearts set on. Tell me then WHY you would stop talking to HIM?

5. Quit ranting and raving about Bush and the conspiracy of Republicans, or whoever else you are ranting about, and come to the people who care about you, and understand. ;)

Go Home! Everyone is waiting and noone is mad. Declaration of Independence, really? Oh yeah, I think you told me that once. GO HOME!

Don't get me started. Even before the Iraq wore started I knew we were bound for failure. They had a news story on showing the graduation at West Point. We saw a couple of hundred well scrubbed attractive kids that could have been the kid next door. They were not trained in fighting this type of dirty guerilla war and how to identify the enemy. Whatever happens there, we are the BEST

I think our only real failures in the war is the removal of our troops and the solid establishment of a firm government. Unfortunately, I think that both of these issues may prove to be very difficult to resolve. With something like 5% of the population who feels leadership should be inherited, I don't think the other 95% will ever be as sneaky, as violent, as backstabby (is that a word??!?!), or as tricky as that other 5%...so we will continue in the vicious killing circle.

Modern Iraq was cobbled together by the British in 1932. It is has always been a failed attempt to put three disparate groups together in an artificial alliance. My guess is that the biggest problem comes from assuming that everybody wants to live in a U.S. defined democracy. That's something that you just can't impose from the outside.

Well , it has falied in our expectations of time. I think it takes time to build an economy with a both civil war, and sectarian rulers who have power delegating problems to keep themselves in power. I see alot of your questions, but they are usually short-sighted, incomplete and lack knowledge through understanding economics, history and world power interests. p.s. You have a bread crumb on yout lower lip, have your mommy wipe it off.
