First of all-KEEP YOUR FINGER OUT OF YOUR EAR! If it itches a lot then you don't have enough wax in your ear. I know that sounds crazy but my doctor told me that wax is there to keep your ears healthy and when you get build up you shouldn't "remove" the wax you should treat it. There are oils you can get to help with build up. Your ear is sore because you have been sticking you finger in it. If your ears are sore to the point your jaw hurts or it's aching badly you need to see your doctor. I bet though if you stop inching with your finger and just "ignore" it then you will notice a faster recovery.

Do not listen to that last person, NEVER use a toothpick, match or anything wood inside your ear, it can break off in there. If you must scratch use something metal that can't break, but it is best not - try the peroxide thing, it should really fix the itch, it works for me, don't be alarmed when you hear the 'snap crackle pop'. The best way to get the peroxide in your ear without making a mess is to use one of those syringes for giving medicine to animals, or an eye dropper.

See the doctor then. Your symptoms could be just about anything from a spot to a serious ear infection. There's no way that anyone with this tiny amount of information can tell you what is wrong. You need to get a proper diagnosis from a professional.

I have heard that people pour a little peroxide in their ears, wait about 30 secs. and turn over on a white towel to see all the wax and mess come out. It will foam but it is ok.

in basic terms ascertain the piercing studs are the type with a pointy factor. some are boring (rounded) and those extremely injury! additionally spend the further funds and purchase real 14K gold jewelry. I consistently have been given infections with the cheap ones (I definitely have 3 in each ear), yet in no way had any problems with the real gold, even when I forgot to do standard cleanings. Enjoys your new piercing(s)!
