Now I'm all for democracy, liberty and killing terrorists in Iraq but if more Iraqi civilians are getting killed because of the US presence in Iraq how will the US military ever solve any of the problems in Iraq?

nicholasraage is correct: a civilian isn't just made or classified by his apparel. Though that statement is irrelevant to the question, it is true. Both America and Saddam have probably covered up a lot of their kills or disposed of the evidence, so as not to let it show on polls. Another downside of leaving the vital statistics of a war up to bureaucrats and officers is that they aren't running the war. They're backseat drivers who keep a safe distance because they know that they know nothing about running a war, but that the people don't know it, either. The cowardice of Washington deploys a shortage of heroes to a land they created to rectify a situation they implemented without thinking of the consequences. While the soldiers go off and fight the battles they are too cushy and stupid to understand they stay at home and play GI Joe's with the lives of millions of hard-working American heroes and pretend they understand what's going on.

With absolute power comes absolute corruption, when the ignorance of a nation churns out masses of dopey, single-minded sheep with neither the will or the capacity to think for themselves, you the people have handed powers strictly forbidden by your own constitution over to the agencies and politics that govern you. Your ignorance has brought this plight upon you, and divided you fall. Hail your king George... You made his throne now let him sit in it you morons!

No one who has so blindly followed every word every stutter every cheap shot and every slanderous remark made by their government for the duration of it's existence has earned the right to b*tch about it when suddenly the monster they created is at their doorstep instead of just looming in the shadows behind the smokescreen principals and transparent morals of an empire built and sustained on power, ego, and smaller establishments that fold readily under it's might. You whiny saps make me sick! Yes it is wrong! NO you have not done anything in the way of improvement! YES it is your fault all of you. Liberal, conservative, pro-war anti-war, fundamentalists and fanatics.

Until you can stand up for what is actually right instead of waiting for the American paid media, the government and politicians tell you what is right, the only thing you have earned the right to do is what you have been doing, squawk and babble while you aimlessly follow the loudest voice in the crowd .

Where did you get your numbers? How are we to know how many civilians Saddam killed and how do we know how many of the "civilians" killed in "Bush's war" were not terrorists? I actually am not for this war but I think that people need to get some facts before making statements of this sort.

If devil is a devil, will he experience satisfied? will he prefer our comparson to forgive him? lead him to the properly suited way? Bible did not tell devil had to be killed, why people declare himself god to kill others?

The study to which you refer (published in the British journal Lancet) has been widely discredited as unscientific. Please check your facts.

... or perhaps, like the study's author, you have an admitted agenda and aren't interested in the truth. I realize that many in this forum do and are not.

There is an unbiased report on the study at the link below for anyone here who still values honesty and integrity over partisan politics.

I believe it. At least under Hussein's regime no one went hungry, health care was free and you could come and go as you pleased without fear of being shot to death in the streets. Yes, he had some sick practices, but nothing worse than our current corrupt government is practicing as we speak. Jailing people without trial and torture, sound familiar??
