Preop sex change patients have to take estrogen and other hormones I believe just wondering if this does anything to dna that case still bothers me.

Short answer, No. However, depending on the specificity of the test, it could render false results, but on a small, & I mean less than 0.2% chance. Hormones regulate body functions, but you have to remember, that its the DNA thats the ultimate "hard drive" of your cells. When DNA changes greater than a small percent, the end product is more commonly coined as "cancer" a cell who's DNA changes slightly, as to lose its ability to function. That cell will still retain much >99% of its original genome, and thus be recognized as "self" - therein lies the problem of curing cancer...So if Cancer is a genetic change, a change in DNA, and the most drastic that our bodies undergo, and yet our bodies still recognize it as "self" then DNA tests will most likely not be able to detect a difference as well.
So long answer really short? Nope, regardless of what hormones one ingests, it will not throw off a DNA test.

No. It doesn't work that way.
You get to keep the same DNA hand you were dealt throughout your entire life.

nothing can change your dna it is genetic and is the same when you are born as when you die
