It is a matter of personal preference, both will get you clean. But I always feel cleaner from a bath because you soak. If there is any ingrained dirt on your feet etc a bath is much better for this; on the other hand the shower is better for washing your hair as you get more complete rinsing.

In a rush shower relaxing bath hurting hot long soak followed by cool shower sometimes bath then shower.

Try an experiment. First, take a bath. Look at the water when you are done. Then take a shower. Look at the water again...
The condition of the water left when you are finished should tell you which is the cleaner method of bathing. :)

I prefer a shower. I don't think I'd feel as clean after a bath knowing I sat in the water I used to clean myself off in.

I was born in a country where we didn't have bathtubs in our bathrooms as it happens here in the US. So, I will have to say that I prefer showers, even though once in a while I've been known to enjoy a relaxing bubble bath.
