OK, one of 2 things, either the passkey or the enertia switch. You need to find out first if it is missing spark or fuel. Put some starter fluid into the intake and see if the truck fires. If it does not run momentarily then you may have a defective passkey. That's the chip in the key for security. If you don't have a spare, you'll have to go to the dealership and order a new one for 20 bucks. If it does fire and run for a few seconds, it would sound like the enertia switch. It's a switch that has a magnet and a ball bearing that opens the fuel pump circuit in case of a roll over. They are normally behind the seat in the corner panel on the driver's side or under the center of the dash. It's a black box with a red reset button. Look in the owner's manual if you have trouble finding it.

pull the coil wire and crank it to see if you have spark if not pull the distributor cap and crank it again and see if the rotor is moving if the rotor does not move the timing chain is broken if it does move replace the ignition module did you run over anything just before it died there is a fuel shut off switch that can be triggered by a large jolt like running over a large brick

do you mean the starter motor is not turning the engine over to start it? if so check your fuses, if the fuses are all good look for broken wires etc. if a fuze is blown look for wires that might have shorted against the frame or motor block. That is all I can think of to suggest.

If you checked spark and gas look at fuses. no luk? get a tow to dealer. with compuiters and all its hard to figger unless you have shop manual and test equipment..... good luck.. you really were Found On Road Dead.!
