Did we dress the way our parents wanted us to? Let's be realistic, it's all apart of the growing up stage. Mom he's 17.....he looked all right to me. Let him be himself, and please don't be judgmental of his father's parenting in front of him....or anywhere else he can read it. Be thankful he had a father that wanted to raise him. He'll be a legal adult soon....then he'll be out of the nest. Don't waste this time talking about his attire, bond w/him. Trust me clothes are fads and soon he'll dress another way. My brother used to dress like him, now he wears business suits.........Focus on what really counts, your son.

They are embarrassed by the way older people dress, and do NOT want to be associated (FASHION WISE) in any way with Mom and Dad's way of thinking......it is a fad, things will pass and they will face the same problems with their teenage children also. hang in there and do the best you can with the important things in life...education, faith , and morals.

I like the way he is dressing, the one thing i hate though is when adults try to tell teenagers how to dress.

I dont see anything wrong with this at all - if you look at his info and friends he seems quite clean cut - he has religion - he doesnt smoke or do drugs etc - who are you to tell him how he should dress? If you dont like it dont go to his site.. simple really..

They want to rebel. I say, if you buy the clothes, you pick them out.
