Its been a good while since I took the pill but when I came off it, it was a few days and I'd got my 1st period (or at least I had a bleeding). If your not trying to get pregnant you should use something else just encase. If your wanting to get pregnant, go and see your doctors and get proper advice. It can take a while to get the pill out of your system. Good luck

You know it really does depend... some women begin their monthlies immediately others it takes a while to get back into the routine of things... if you have no sign after 6 months go for a check up...
I came off Depo (the injection and it took two years for me to have a period... i now have the Implanon Implant.. and dont have periods at all.... and im only 27!!!!

It depends usually there is a seven day placebo period between the active doses of the medication where the body usually menstruates If you have been taking just the active doses and not the placebos it could take your body longer to get back in the cycle it also depends on whether you have regular peroids or irratic periods too you probably need to talk to your doctor to make sure everything is okay

Usually, when you come of the pill - you get about a month of spotting, until your next full period. So I think you should go to the doctor, just to be on the safe side.

How long have you been on the pill? If you have been on it a while then it should be like clock work i.e stop the pill, you should bleed within 48hrs normally........speak to your dr for advice just to make sure but remember all us women's bodies react in different ways - just double check ok

It might take a while, because your body has to get used to not getting the pill anymore. Your period will probably be very heavy as well.

Everybody is different! It is entirely possible that your body is taking its time to adjust to producing its own hormones rather than relying on a pill to do it. If you are worried, a chat with either your GP, practice nurse or a family planning clinic professional will put your mind at rest.

Apparenlty that can happen, but I don't think it should be more than a couple of months.
I would wait until next month and then go to your GP, or if there's a chance you could be pregnant, get a test now.

you should stop taking the pill for 1 week and you should get your period within that week if you don't go back on the pill otherwise it won't be an effective form of contraception.
