Political commentator`s throughout the world know that the democratic Model,exemplified by the US, is in fact, highly distorted.I have heard, off the record, very well respected public figures, rip to pieces the American political system, on the record it`s another story. America is currently the biggest threat to a "true" democratic world. This is why America has no respect. As a democracy, it has absolutly no substance. You can`t offer this warped system to the world and not expect them to see it`s transparency. People are not that dumb.

democracy is not perfect,it is a work in progress.human as we are perfection eludes us,yet we have to strive for the closest thing to perfection.i know that great thinkers will tell you all the laudable things about democracy.but simply put,it is one huge opinion poll to let the fat cats know what we are thinking and whether we are coming to get them.if only Marie Antoinette had figured this out......
